Arrive at Jammu in the morning /afternoon and drive to Katra. On your arrival at Katra check-in the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
You can take a stroll around the buzzing local market in the evening.

Today, early morning, you will be dropped at Banganga from where you begin your trek to the Vaishnodevi Temple, a trek of 14 kms to go up and the same to come down. (Horses and dolis for senior citizens are available on direct payment).
After the darshan return to your hotel in Katra.
 Rest of the day is at leisure to relax in the hotel.

Today, after breakfast, continue your journey by road to Pahalgham.

Pahalgam is located on the banks of the Lidder River and is a very popular tourist destination. Since the town and surrounding areas are so picturesque, the place is also very popular for film shoots. A number of treks begin from here and the trail through pinewoods go upto the spectacular Kolahoi Glacier.
Pahalgam is also associated with the annual Amarnath Yatra. Chandanwari, the base camp for the trek to the caves, is only 16 kms from the town.

En-route to Pahalgam, visit the Avantipur temple ruins - King Avantivarman erected two magnificent temples, one dedicated to Lord Shiva and the other to Lord Vishnu. You will also drive through Pampor, famous for fields of saffron.

 Arrive at Pahalgham and check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to walk around and enjoy the beauty of the place.

In the morning, check out of the hotel and proceed on an excursion to Chandanwari and Betaab Valley. After the visits continue driving to Srinagar.

Srinagar is the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir. It is situated on the banks of the Jhelum River and is well known for its Mughal Gardens, lakes and houseboats on the lakes.

On arriving at Srinagar, proceed to the hotel for a check in.
In the evening take a shikara ride around the Dal lake.

After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Gulmarg - the" meadow of flowers".

Gulmarg is a beautiful hill station and famous the world over for golf and skiing.It is a very popular tourist destination and can be visited all through the year.

Arrive at Gulmarg and continue on foot to the cable car - aerial gondola - station. Take a ride till level 1 or level 2.
After the ride, spend your time in Gulmarg by walking around and absorbing the beauty of the place.
Return to Srinagar in the evening

Overnight at the hotel  or houseboat.

Today, after breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit the Shankaracharya Temple and the Mughal Gardens of Shalimar, Nishat and Chashme Shahi.

The Shankaracharya Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated at a height of 1000 feet, overlooking the city of Srinagar.

The Mughal Gardens are a group of beautiful gardens built as per Persian architecture during the rule of the Mughals. The design of the gardens are heavily influenced by the Persian gardens, especially the Charbagh structure - wide use of the rectilinear layouts made within the walled enclosures.Some of the typical features are also pools, fountains and water channels inside the gardens.

Return to the hotel / houseboat after sightseeing. Rest of the day is free for shopping or other independant activities.

Time to say goodbye to the Vale of Kashmir!!!!
 Transfer tothe  airport (as per fight schedule) to connect flight for onward journey.
