Arrive Cochin
Day 1

On arrival at Cochin airport you will be welcomed by our tour representative and transferred to the hotel.
Popularly known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, Cochin or Kochi is the oldest European settlement in India. Filled with backwaters and rich with old world charm, this city has lured many a great voyager to its shores.
In the afternoon proceed for a local tour of Cochin.You will be transferred to Cochin Harbour to board a speed boat which takes you to the gateway of the Arabian Sea.On arrival at Fort Cochin transfer to the island and proceed for a local tour which covers the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets.
In the evening witness the Kathakali dance performance + make up demonstration - Kathkali is a unique dance which has a 2000 year old history with more than 100 different `mudras` or gestures depicting deities, demons, heroes, heroines and kings - each based on episodes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana, the two epic Indian myths.

Cochin - Munnar
(120 kms / approx 3 hours drive)
Day 2

After an early morning breakfast, check out from the hotel & embark on a fascinating journey to Munnar covered with unending expanse of tea plantation. The panoramic view of the cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantation is an unforgettable experience. On arrival check ino the resort/hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities and to enjoy the facilities in the resort / hotesl. Overnight at hotel of stay.






In Munnar
Day 3

In the morning, after breakfast, proceed for a local tour of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, Pothamedu (view of tea, coffee & cardamom plantation & breath taking hills & lush mountains) Thoovanam falls and Mattupety Lake & dam . Overnight at hotel of stay.







Munnar - Thekkady
(110 kms / approx 3 hours drive)
Day 4

Morning have breakfast and check out of the resort/hotel and drive to Thekkedy . Sprawling across 777 sq. kms. of the Cardamom Hills of the Western Ghats, Thekkady is the home to one of the largest wildlife reserves in India. Alive with exotic flora and vibrant wildlife, it is the perfect getaway tucked away. On arrival check into the resort. In the afternoon proceed for a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar. In the evening you can take a Elephant ride at Periyar wild life sanctuary. Overnight at hotel of stay.




Thekkady - Kumarakom
(120 kms / approx 3 hours drive)
Day 5

In the morning, after breakfast, drive through the ghats, lined with prosperous tea plantations, and arrive at Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a beautiful backwater village on the shores of the enchanting Vembanad Lake, criss crossed with meandering waterways and ancient cottages. Relax at the waterfront, with the occasional native row boat gliding silently by, and the air so calm and environment so quiet, that you feel you are in paradise!!! Overnight at hotel of stay.






Kumarakom - Alleppey
Day 6

The morning will be at leisure. Later in the day board the Houseboat and enjoy the backwater cruise from Kumarakom to Alleppey. These houseboats or the traditional rice boats - "Ketuvallam"- will take you through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes while you relax in the tranquillity of Kerala`s beautiful scenery, experiencing the way of life and activity of the local people. The one bedroom house with a lounge is exclusively for you, meals will be served with freshly bought produce from the local markets and cooked on board. The materials that go into the making of these boats are all local and Eco friendly bamboo poles, coconut fibre ropes, bamboo mats, coir carpets. Over night stay at House boat




Alleppey - Cochin
(60 kms / approx 1.5 hours driv)
Day 7

In the morning have breakfast in the houseboat and disembark and drive to Kochi airport.
Time to say goodbye as you board the flight connecting you to your onward destination.
