Arrive Kathmandu
Day 1

Arrive at Kathmandu airport and transfer to the hotel.

Kathmandu is the largest city and capital of Nepal. Once thought to be the fabled and inaccessible Shangri-La, Kathmandu is now a hub for independent travellers as well as a growing vacation spot catering to all budgets. As a result of considerable urban growth in recent decades, it is now part of one continuous urban area together with Patan to the south.

Rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities. You can walk around in the Thamel area, a tourist neighbourhood with many restaurants and shops.
Overnight in the hotel.




In Kathmandu
Day 2

Today you will be taken on a sightseeing trip if Kathmandu. Visit Boudhnath, Swayumbhunath, Pashupatinath Temple and Darbar Square.

Swayambhunath is a huge Buddhist stupa on a hill overlooking the city.This is also one of the seven UNESCO World Heritage sites in the Kathmandu valley
Boudhnath is one of the most sacred sites for Tibetan Buddhism. This huge stupa is one of the largest in the world and is another World Heritage site.
Pashupatinath Temple is a very sacred Hindu temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Non Hindus are not allowed inside the temple , but can see it from outside.
Darbar Square is an ancient square crowded with palaces and temples, including the current incarnation of the Kasthamandap or "Wooden house" that gives the city its name. The square has been occupied since the construction of a palace around 1000AD. This site is the most popular UNESCO World Heritage Site in Nepal.
Return to the hotel after sightseeing

Onto Pokhra
(209 kms / approx 5 hours drive)
Day 3

After breakfast, leave by road for Pokhra.

Pokhra`s pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes and surrounding greenery make it the jewel in the Himalayas, a place of remarkable natural beauty. With the magnificent Annapurna range forming the backdrop and the serenity of three major lakes Phewa, Rupa and Begnas, Pokhara is the ultimate destination for relaxation.

Arrive Pokhra and check into the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
In the evening, proceed for a boatride on Lake Phewa.
Overnight in the hotel.




In Pokhra
Day 4

In the morning proceed for local sightseeing and visit the Devi`s Fall, locally known as Patale Chhango (Nether Fall).
Also see the World Peace Pagoda on top of a hill near the Phewa lake.It has four images of the Buddha facing the four directions. The dome-shaped pagoda is an impressive sight, and its hilltop location commands a great view. It is a great vantage point which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna.
Also visit the Old Bazaar, a traditional bazaar and a colourful gathering place for an ethnically diverse group of traders. The temples and monuments bear a close resemblance to the Newari architecture of the Kathmandu Valley. The old bazaar is also home to one of  Pokhara`s most important shrines, the  Bindhyabasini Mandir,  a white dome-like structure atop a hill.

Return to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Drive to Chitwan
(135 kms / approx 3 hours drive)
Day 5

This morning continue your tour by driving to Chitwan.

Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. It was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It covers an area of 932 km. In the north and west of the protected area the Narayani-Rapti river system forms a natural boundary to human settlements. Meaning Heart of the Jungle, Chitwan is famous as one of the best wildlife-viewing national parks in Asia, and you will have an excellent chance of spotting one-horned rhinos, deer, monkeys and 450 species of birds. If your are extremely lucky, you will see leopards, wild elephants and sloth bears though its the once-in-a-lifetime chance to spot a majestic royal Bengal tiger that attracts people in their droves.

Arrive and check into the resort. Rest of the day is at leisure
Overnight in the resort.




In Chitwan
Day 6

Early in the morning proceed to the river side during the elephant bathing time and have a wonderful and wet experience with the pachyderms!!!
Return to the resort and after sometime proceed on an elephant safari in the national park.
After the safari return to the resort.

In the evening go for a boat / kayak ride on the Narayani river.
Overnight in the resort.






Drive back to Kathmandu
(155 kms / approx 4 hours drive)
Day 7

After a leisurely breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive back to Kathmandu.
Arrive and check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free for shopping or for trying your luck at the casino!!!!
Overnight in the hotel.







Depart Kathmandu
Day 8

Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport to connect your flight for your onward journey.

We were very impressed by your team's professional, courtesy and timeliness. Your staff was there at every level and every occasion from the time we arrived in Delhi to the time we left India. They were there at every hotel and venue to ensure that everything was properly taken care of. Any issue we encountered was promptly handled and resolved.
